Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
1.1. “The Garage” refers to Corner garage Limited.
1.2. “The Customer” refers to the individual or entity requesting services.
1.3. “Services” refer to repairs, maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, or other automotive work carried out by the Garage.
1.4. “Vehicle” refers to the customer’s car, van, or other motor vehicle.
2. Acceptance of Terms
2.1. By leaving your vehicle with the Garage, you accept these terms and conditions.
2.2. Any additional agreements or alterations must be in writing and signed by both parties.
3. Estimates & Pricing
3.1. All estimates provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
3.2. Estimates are subject to revision if additional issues are identified during the service.
3.3. The Customer will be informed of any changes to the cost and must approve before additional work is undertaken.
3.4. Prices include VAT (where applicable) unless otherwise specified.
4. Work Authorisation
4.1. Work will not commence without the Customer’s authorisation.
4.2. Verbal or written confirmation (including email or SMS) from the Customer will be considered authorisation for the Garage to proceed.
5. Completion & Collection
5.1. The Garage will notify the Customer when the vehicle is ready for collection.
5.2. The Customer must collect the vehicle within 7 days of notification unless otherwise agreed.
5.3. Uncollected vehicles may incur storage charges of£30 per day after the 7-day period.
6. Payment Terms
6.1. Payment is due in full upon collection of the vehicle unless prior arrangements have been made.
6.2. The Garage accepts payments viaall credits cards except American Express.
6.3. Vehicles will not be released until full payment has been received.
7. Warranty & Liability
7.1. Workmanship is guaranteed for a period of6 months or5,000, whichever comes first.
7.2. Parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable.
7.3. The Garage is not liable for pre-existing faults, subsequent failures unrelated to the performed work, or Customer-supplied parts.
7.4. The Customer is responsible for ensuring the Vehicle is insured while it is at the Garage.
8. Cancellations
8.1. Cancellations must be made at least48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
8.2. A cancellation fee of£50 may apply for late cancellations.
9. Customer Responsibilities
9.1. The Customer must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding the Vehicle.
9.2. The Customer agrees not to leave personal belongings in the Vehicle, as the Garage is not responsible for loss or damage.
10. Liens
10.1. The Garage reserves the right to retain the Vehicle until full payment is received (known as a lien).

12. Force Majeure
12.1. The Garage is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or shortages of supplies.
13. Amendments
13.1. The Garage reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
13.2. The Customer will be notified of significant changes before any new work is agreed upon.
14. Governing Law
14.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
